MaxLite unveils LED wedge and G4 base lamps as a perfect halogen replacement in low-voltage lighting fixtures. Compact in size, but delivering big energy savings, the lamps are equivalent to the miniature 20-watt halogen lamps commonly used in landscape, accent, under-cabinet, pendant and other decorative lighting fixtures. Consuming just 2.5 watts of power, MaxLite's LED wedge and G4 lamps work with 12-volt electronic and magnetic transformers to deliver 87 percent energy savings over their less-efficient predecessors. They are certified for safety by TÜV Rheinland and may be used in dry locations.
