Six-inch recessed lighting trim is the most widely stocked size in the commercial market, matching the dominant 6-inch housing platform. Trim is available in more styles and finishes at 6 inches than any other recessed size, giving contractors and designers the most options for customizing the appearance and performance of a 6-inch installation.

Standard trim styles include baffle (ribbed to control glare), open reflector (maximum light output), and shower or wet-location trim for bathroom and covered exterior applications. Specialty trims such as pinhole aperture, adjustable eyeball, wall-wash, and sloped-ceiling adaptors round out the selection for architecturally demanding projects.

Compatibility is always the primary check: trim must match the housing brand and diameter, and LED modules must be rated for the trim opening size.
