What's in the clearance

Two families here, both LED, both built to drop onto poles that used to carry HID. The AAL1 is most of the list: bronze, Type 3 or Type 5 lens, your choice of 3000K, 4000K, or 5000K, and it comes in both 120-277V and 277-480V depending on what you're feeding it. Every one carries 0-10V dimming leads standard.

Worth knowing about the PowerSet models specifically. AAL1-PS450-40T3-U isn't locked to 450W. It's field-selectable: 450, 400, or 350W off the same fixture. That's one SKU instead of three sitting on a shelf, and it's the kind of flexibility that matters when the photometric you're bidding against has some wiggle room built in. You don't have to guess the exact wattage before the fixture shows up on site.

VERT rounds it out. 100W and 240W, 4000K only, Type 3 or Type 5, same bronze, same dimming. Smaller line, same rules.

Here's what's actually on the shelf right now, SKU by SKU:

Stock and configuration reality

Not every line here is deep stock. AAL1-300-40T5-V is down to 9 units. AAL1-300-40T5-U has 18. The 5000K 240W Type 5 is sitting at 49. If a job needs one of these at pole-count quantities, call and check before it goes on a bid sheet. Don't assume.

Voltage's the other thing to watch. U means 120-277V, V means 277-480V, and closeout SKUs don't come with a do-over. Pull the wrong one, and there's no exchange counter to walk it back to.

Pro Tip

Confirm the voltage suffix, U or V, and the actual count in stock before the PO goes out. This is closeout: no returns. A wrong voltage pull or a short count on a thin SKU turns into a field problem, not a warehouse exchange.

Why this is worth acting on

This makes sense if the spec already calls for Type 3 or Type 5 pole-mount in bronze, at wattages EiKO already covers here. Could be new construction, bidding an open manufacturer line. Could be a facility manager working through a lot-wide retrofit. Either way, the buy decision sits with whoever owns the budget: the facility manager or owner on retrofit and MRO work, the electrical contractor checking whether this qualifies as an approved equal on new work.

GCs care about a different piece of this. Picking the fixture isn't your call, that's not the job, but a stocked SKU today is a lead-time problem that never turns into a rough-in delay. Worth knowing even if you're not the one writing the PO.

The actual argument for buying now isn't hype. It's the terms: first come, first served, no restock once it's gone. That's just how closeouts work.

Installation and sourcing considerations

No returns means the fixture has to match the hardware before it ships, not after. Check drilling pattern and arm mount against what's already on the pole, or against the pole and mounting hardware going up alongside it. That matters more on a retrofit, where the pole's usually older than the fixture going onto it.

Dimming's a non-issue if the site's already running 0-10V. All 17 SKUs use it. If the site's on something else, get that confirmed with whoever owns the controls spec before the truck shows up.
